Aims and Objectives
In late 2021 the laws changed to exclude the need for a B licence holder to pass a car and trailer test to acquire their BE entitlement. With these changes made the Government introduced the new safe towing scheme, intended to give individuals and businesses accredited training for drivers who tow. Transport Training Academy Ltd is a member of Skills for Logistics – B+E accredited training centre network, who are officially recognised by the DVSA to deliver B+E trailer training.
Paul Spink, Development Director for Skills for Logistics, the body which accredits the scheme, added: “The DVSA has provided official recognition of the Skills for Logistics B+E accreditation scheme to accredit training centres and trainers and provide quality assurance and certification. We are proud to be associated with and supporting Transport Training Academy, who are at the forefront of road safety.”
