Pre Employment Driving Assessment

Course Overview

The pre-employment driving assessment is designed to determine whether a driver’s attitude, skills and competency are of a standard to meet the business needs of the Company.

On completion of the assessment drivers should have a better understanding of the vehicle, the principles of defensive driving, improved concentration and observations and earlier anticipation of hazards.

Content and Course Design

Knowledge of Vehicle Checks
Eyesight Checks
Highway Code Test
Maneuvering Exercise
Practical Drive (assessing inappropriate speed, lack of judgement, failure to give way, poor maneuvering inattention and distraction)
Feedback of Practical Drive
Administration summary and feedback review

Two Hours per Assessment, Four Assessments can be conducted in a day. Individual Assessments can be arranged if required

Just passed Class 1 C+E, my instructor Gavin was very knowledgeable and explained all instructions and gave a why to everything he was instructing me to do. Gavin was calm and relaxed even if I made a mistake he would encourage me and explain again what to do next time phasing the same scenario.
